Google’s “Circle to Search” feature was first introduced alongside the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Now, according to Google’s latest announcement, Circle to Search is officially available worldwide, not just on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series, but also on Google’s own Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

With this feature, users can easily search for anything on their screen just by circling, highlighting, scribbling on, or tapping it. Whether you’re watching a video or looking at a photo in a social media app, being able to simply circle whatever you want to search for is a genuinely convenient feature for users. It’s not limited to circling either — in a messaging app, you can just highlight text in a message to search for it easily.

Beyond looking up restaurants, food, or products, you can also search for any word or phrase you want to know more about, all without leaving the app you’re currently using. There’s no need to press the Home button to switch to another app or navigate away using the navigation bar like before.
