Samsung introduced Galaxy AI features alongside the Galaxy S24 Series last month, and on February 13, announced that some of those Galaxy AI features would now be coming to its TWS earphones as well.
Samsung has already begun selling devices in India ranging from the Galaxy S24 Series to the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, which include Live Translation and Interpretation features. Two of the Galaxy AI features will now be usable on Galaxy Buds, and Samsung has said that using them won’t require an internet connection.
With Live Translation, users speaking through Galaxy Buds will see real-time translated text appear on their Galaxy S24, while Interpretation lets Galaxy Buds translate face-to-face conversations on the spot.
In its press release, Samsung said, “Users can speak directly through the Buds’ mic, and the translated words will be spoken back through the Galaxy S24 Series in a near-natural voice. If both people in the conversation are using a Galaxy S24 Series smartphone and Galaxy Buds, there’s no need to pass the phone back and forth to translate what’s being said.”
Galaxy Buds with these Galaxy AI features are now available for purchase in India, and are expected to become available in other smartphone markets soon.
