Huawei’s Device Business Group (Myanmar) has announced that the latest flagship HUAWEI Mate Series and the affordably priced HUAWEI nova Y Series will soon be introduced in Myanmar.
The new HUAWEI Mate Series marks 10 years since the Mate Series smartphone line began, and has been built with more advanced technology than anticipated.

Huawei has been in the consumer business since 2011, continuously investing in research and development for its consumer products. In the smartphone space, Huawei has pioneered numerous designs and technologies — it introduced the first triple-camera setup with the HUAWEI P20 Pro, and with the P30 Series brought SuperZoom, delivering zoom photography once thought impossible from a smartphone. Huawei now has more than 730 million users worldwide and over 1 billion connected devices.
The new Mate Series will also be the first smartphone to support Beidou Satellite Messaging when used in China, and comes with EMUI 13 pre-installed for the first time. Built with rugged “Kunlun Glass,” the new HUAWEI Mate Series can withstand up to 10 drops and is the first phone to receive a Five-Star Glass Drop Resistance Certification from Switzerland’s SGS. The new Mate Series also achieved the highest score on the DxOMark ranking and has been the best-selling phone in China, with more than 2.45 million pre-orders and stock selling out within 10 seconds on its first day of sale, with customers lining up to buy it. The new HUAWEI Mate Series will make its first appearance in international markets this month.

The HUAWEI nova Series is a popular smartphone lineup among today’s youth. The name “nova” is derived from Latin, meaning “new,” and represents youthfulness, strength, and confidence — the word “innovation” itself contains “nova.” In short, the nova series represents innovation, fashion, and individual style, and is designed with young people specifically in mind. Innovation has been the foundation of the HUAWEI nova series since Huawei began producing it in 2016, built with the best available technology across design, camera, fast-charging solutions, and applications.

The affordably priced new HUAWEI nova Y series, like other Huawei smartphones, is built with excellent design, camera technology, and modern features. The new HUAWEI nova Y series comes with a triple rear camera setup and more advanced technologies including Super Night Shot, AI Snapshot for capturing moving subjects sharply, and a Slow Motion feature. It also includes a 5,000 mAh battery, 22.5W HUAWEI SuperCharge, and a Distributed File System that lets you easily connect your PC and mobile phone. Myanmar is among the first markets where the new HUAWEI nova Y Series will be introduced internationally.
Huawei’s new Mate Series and new HUAWEI nova Y series, both built with such innovative technology, are set to be introduced in Myanmar soon.
