JOIM – Jobs Opportunity in Myanmar’s Telegram Channel was launched on May 7, 2020. After that, the website was started and it has been visited by more than 30,000 users every day since its inception.
U Thurain Nanda, Business Development Manager of JOIM – Jobs Opportunity in Myanmar said “The idea behind JOIM was that, in the past, it was very difficult to find jobs. We didn’t even know where to go to check the job vacancy announcement. JOIM was founded for that. We directly share jobs recruited by companies to job seekers as a bridge.”
JOIM Platform is mainly designed to allow companies to announce job vacancies for free directly. All uploaded announcements are automatically shared to the JOIM website, Facebook Page, Telegram Channel, and LinkedIn. At present, there are more than 2,000 people who JOIM has directly employed. JOIM shared more than 9,000 job vacancies from all industries and has over 400 companies registered.
“Company’s email or Viber numbers are already provided and those who are applying for the position can apply directly through their email or Viber account. As the CV form is sent to the company directly, job seekers don’t need to pay any fees. Companies can choose and purchase the appropriate monthly packages provided by duration to recruit employees directly from JOIM Platform,” he added.

He also said that “JOIM is trying to provide Urgent positions from across Myanmar on JOIM Page and will use Marketing to contact JOIM more by many companies from each area.”
