MPT, Myanmar’s leading domestic telecom operator, is committed not only to delivering the best possible services to customers nationwide, but also to doing everything it can to support communities in need.

Since 2015, MPT has carried out corporate social responsibility work across three main pillars — education, health, and entrepreneurship and small business — living up to its promise to always “stand together, hand in hand” by providing needed support to the people of Myanmar, including during the COVID-19 period and in other places where help was needed.

Through the end of March 2023, MPT also supported programs such as education, health, and initiatives to expand the role of women, volunteer work, and other activities including the MasterChef All Stars cooking competition and Shwe Eain Met. The MasterChef All Stars cooking competition and Shwe Eain Met programs not only fulfill the public’s passions and dreams, but also support a better world and a brighter future. Over the course of the year, MPT has spent more than 1,400 million kyats supporting communities across Myanmar. The initiatives MPT supported are shown in the images below.
