Myan Trip Application, a friendly application for those looking for a hotel (Interview with Ko Zin Maung, Marketing Manager of MyanTrip Hotel Application)

MyanTrip Hotel Application is a Hotel Directory App that allows users to browse hotels in Myanmar and book through phone call. Those who love to travel should install the MyanTrip Hotel App in their phone.
Previously, those who wanted to search for hotels could only access through the Myantrip.com Website. MyanTrip Hotel Application was launched only in 2022 in make it easier for those looking for a hotel.
The app is made with the aim of finding all the hotels in Myanmar in once place. Users will be able to find the name, images and contact numbers of hotels in the application.
Ko Zin Maung, Marketing Manager of MyanTrip Hotel Application said “The app is made as a Hotel Directory App at the moment. Users can contact directly to the hotel they want to book after entering the app. The app doesn’t have all the hotel information but beach hotels in Chaung Tha, and Ngwe Saung have been added first. More hotels from across Myanmar will be added in the future.”

It’s hard to mention the exact number of users as MyanTrip was started as a Hotel Booking Website, but was later changed to a Hotel Directory Website. The entire website has been changed and it is hard to predict the exact user count.
When the MyanTrip website was launched, we faced difficulties in finding, connecting and adding hotels across the country.
“We will plan to make hotel booking function directly from the application. Currently, we are collecting information of hotels in Myanmar and connecting with them is the next step. Then, we will add direct booking feature in the application, and payment methods,” Ko Zin Maung added.
Hotel owners will be able to add their hotel information in MyanTrip Hotel Application for free. Plus, review feature is also available for the added hotels in the application.

“The advantage of the application is able to find hotels easily in one place. There will be no more difficulties for those who are looking for hotel and they can choose the hotel they like. If there is a hotel that you have searched and stayed in a hotel through the application, I would like to recommend to write a review,” Ko Zin Maung said.
