CarsDB Platform is an online platform where car lovers can buy and sell their cars in one place. At present, it is a reliable platform for those who want to buy and sell cards online without having to go outside.
CarsDB Platform was launched on 4th January 2012 with the purpose of having a leading online car platform in Myanmar. However, internet usage was not yet widespread when the CarsDB platform was launched, and the number of CarsDB Platform users was very low for the popularity of phone usage.

For the encountered difficulty, Ko Myo Thiha, Operation Manager of CarsDB Platform explained “At that time, internet users were still unfamiliar with the websites. The internet wasn’t developed as well as its speed. In case, we guided users a lot to use the website.”
Currently, the CarsDB Platform is selling a wide range of cars between one and two thousand. There are more than seventy-thousands of monthly users on both the CarsDB Website and Application.
“The best-selling cars have a price range of between two hundred and three hundred thousand. With the current car price rate, cars priced at three hundred thousand are the most sold. However, the rest of the high-priced cars are also being sold daily,” he added.
CarsDB Platform is also providing a loan service for those who want to buy a car on CarsDB Platform with monthly payment, insurance service for those who want to insure their cars, and car-related items that will be sold in the future.

“It is easy to buy a car on our platform. Enter our website or application. Click the car that you would like to buy and check its detailed information. You can also contact the dealer directly as it includes the dealer’s contact number. Firstly, those who want to sell cars on our website (or) application must register with their name, and phone numbers. Capture the image of the car, fill out the car information and click the sale post. Users will be able to perform steps with a phone,” Ko Myo Thiha explained.
