Samsung Electronics has launched the new Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G worldwide on March 12, aiming to bring the best mobile experience to everyone. Both the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G come with enhanced security features, and also borrow some of the camera technology found in Samsung’s flagship Galaxy phones, marking a noticeable step up for the series.
Both new phones come equipped with an upgraded Nightography feature, letting users capture great, epic shots even in low light. The AI Image Signal Processing (ISP) technology built into the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G helps prevent the blurry, unclear photos that often result from shooting in the dark. With Night Portrait Mode and 23-bit HDR Video also on board, users can expect crisp, high-quality results from both photos and videos. On top of that, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Video Digital Image Stabilization (VDIS) help keep moving subjects, whether people or objects, sharp and clear when captured on camera. Thanks to these all-round camera upgrades, including Nightography, the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G let users capture cherished memories with loved ones in any setting, day or night.

Samsung Knox Vault, an advanced feature usually reserved for Samsung’s flagship Galaxy phones, has now been added to both the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G. Samsung Knox Vault protects both the software and hardware of the phone, and with end-to-end data encryption in place, it helps ensure that no one can access your data without authorization, under any circumstances. In addition, Auto Blocker monitors for potential malware whenever apps are downloaded or installed via USB, removing threats as needed. The Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G are also guaranteed four generations of Android OS updates and five years of One UI upgrades, so users can enjoy the latest Galaxy and Android features for a long time to come.
In terms of chipsets, the Galaxy A35 5G is powered by the Exynos 1380 and the Galaxy A55 5G by the Exynos 1480, both upgrades over the previous generation, giving both phones an all-round performance boost. Both phones feature a Super AMOLED display with Vision Booster for a bright, vivid screen, along with a 5000mAh battery and 25W fast charging for long-lasting battery life. Both phones also support eSIM and come with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, and pair smoothly with other Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy Fit3 and Galaxy Buds for a seamless experience within the Galaxy Ecosystem.
The Galaxy A35 5G and A55 5G will be available in three colors: Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Navy, and Awesome Lemon. The Galaxy A35 5G will be priced at 1,369,000 kyats, and the Galaxy A55 5G at 1,759,000 kyats.
