Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 5G, in High Demand During Pre-Order, Now Available in Myanmar

Samsung Electronics’ latest premium smartphones, the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G, were unveiled globally not long ago and opened for pre-order. Now, starting March 30, they’re available for purchase at Samsung showrooms, authorized dealers, and mobile phone shops across Myanmar. Both models come with upgraded cameras, security, and durability, along with hardware and software improvements that put them a step ahead of last year’s versions — a combination that drew strong public interest and a high number of pre-orders.

“We’re truly grateful for how enthusiastically customers pre-ordered the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 5G. These new models were upgraded based on user feedback and the needs of today’s users, so we’re confident they’ll be genuinely useful phones for everyday life. Now that the Galaxy A55 and A35 5G are on sale in the Myanmar market, we hope buyers will also enjoy the gifts, trade-in offers, and Care+ services that come with them,” said U Tin Maung Win, Head of the Mobile Experience Group at Samsung Myanmar.

The new Galaxy A55 and A35 5G bring near-flagship camera features, including Nightography, Night Portrait Mode, AI Image Signal Processing (ISP), 23-bit HDR Video, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and Video Digital Image Stabilization (VDIS). The chipset, Super AMOLED display, and build materials have also been upgraded across the board, along with security features like Samsung Knox Vault, making these phones a strong option for users who want top-tier performance from a mid-range device.

To mark the local launch of the Galaxy A55 and A35 5G, buyers receive a gift as a thank-you: Galaxy A55 5G buyers get an Original Clear Cover and a 25W Travel Adapter, while Galaxy A35 5G buyers get an Original Card Slot Cover and a 25W Travel Adapter. As a special offer for MPT users, simply topping up a monthly phone bill of 5,000 kyats gets new SIM buyers 3GB of data plus 100 on-net minutes, and existing SIM holders 1.5GB of data plus 100 on-net minutes, delivered monthly for six months from the date of purchase.

Under Samsung Care+, buyers get one 100% discount on accidental front-screen repair within three months of purchase, and one 50% discount within six months of purchase. Customers who want to trade in their current phone can also take advantage of the Trade-in program, which offers an additional discount on top of the trade-in value — 150,000 kyats off for the Galaxy A55 5G and 100,000 kyats off for the Galaxy A35 5G.

The Galaxy A55 5G (8/256GB) is priced at 1,759,000 kyats, the Galaxy A35 5G (8/128GB) at 1,369,000 kyats, and the Galaxy A35 5G (8/256GB) at 1,509,000 kyats, all available at Samsung showrooms, authorized dealers, and mobile phone shops across Myanmar.
