As Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. continues to shape a new era of mobile AI with Galaxy AI, the company is now bringing Galaxy AI features beyond the Galaxy S24 Series to more Galaxy products. Starting from late March 2024, the Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Tab S9 Series will gain Galaxy AI features through the new One UI 6.1 update. As with the recently launched, high-performance Galaxy S24 Series, this update combines on-device and cloud-based AI, giving users an even better mobile AI experience.

As Galaxy AI features roll out to more devices, an even wider range of Galaxy users will be able to take advantage of its advanced communication tools. These include Chat Assist, which can adjust your tone — professional or casual — when composing a message, and translate into up to 13 languages; Live Translate, which provides real-time voice and text translation during calls between people speaking different languages; and Interpreter, which uses a split-screen view to provide real-time translation for face-to-face conversations, making it far easier to communicate with locals who speak a different language while traveling abroad.

With Galaxy AI built into the Galaxy Ecosystem, everyday tasks become easier and users can unlock a new level of productivity. One of the most popular Galaxy AI features, Circle to Search, is also included — just circle anything on your screen to quickly pull up information from Google. Other advanced features include Note Assist, which organizes your notes, summarizes them for easy reading, and translates them; Web Assist, which delivers full summaries of online articles so you can read the news faster; and Transcript Assist, which easily converts voice recordings from meetings into text, then summarizes and translates them — all helping users get things done more smoothly and efficiently.

The Galaxy AI features in the latest One UI 6.1 update also come packed with tools for customizing photos exactly how you want, even after they’ve been taken. On eligible Galaxy AI devices, Generative Edit lets you resize, reposition, and realign elements within a photo to perfect the final shot. Edit Suggestion also helps you make quick, easy edits. Instant Slow-mo captures far more precise frames than usual when recording high-motion moments in slow-motion video, so you get the perfect shot without needing to record multiple takes.
That’s not all Galaxy AI can do when it comes to creativity and customization — AI-generated wallpapers also make it easier than ever to create a custom wallpaper exactly the way you want it.
