Introduction “5 Mins in 1 Hour” special promotion of MPT

During this unprecedented period challenging of health and economy for Myanmar citizens, MPT start offered a special promotion”5 Mins in 1 Hour” on 2nd April 2020.

In order to take advantage of the “5 Mins in 1 Hour” promotion and stay in touch with loved ones, MPT GSM/WCDMA customers can subscribe to the offer without any additional charges. Customers will be charged only for the first 5 continuous minutes of a voice call to another MPT number. After 5 minutes and up to 60 minutes, the call will be free of charge. Activation of “5 mins in 1 Hour” offer is possible for Swe Thahar/Shar Pyaw/ Shwe Zagar plan users and can be easily set by dialing *5055# or *5055*1#. Base Tariff users have to migrate to Swe Thahar plan to activate this offer. For the first 5 minutes, customers will be charges Ks 27/Minute and a similar amount will be charged for calls lasting more than 60 minutes.
