OPPO partnered with professional photographer Kyaw Kyaw Winn (X-Photographer) to hold a free, structured mobile photography class for those passionate about photography, running from March 25 to April 4.
The class was taught entirely free of charge, with 20 students taking part. Using the OPPO Reno8 T, they learned engaging photography techniques through both theory and hands-on practice, and the class wrapped up with a photo contest and prizes.
Many people passionate about photography from various regions signed up for the class, and OPPO and professional photographer Kyaw Kyaw Winn (X-Photographer) selected 20 finalists through interviews to receive the free instruction. Throughout the class, students learned photography fundamentals and how to take great photos systematically using their phones, using the OPPO Reno8 T with its 100MP portrait camera for both classroom lessons and hands-on shooting in the field.
“I’m really happy to have had the chance to teach a mobile photography class to these up-and-coming young people, in partnership with OPPO. It’s a great opportunity for anyone who’s interested in taking photos with their phone, wants to systematically learn photography fundamentals, or wants to capture great travel photos with a mobile phone. This class also gave young people from other regions the chance to attend, and I was glad to see them join us. I hope this class helps nurture a new generation who can contribute to the world of photography. As something special for this class, students were taught both theory and hands-on practice using the OPPO Reno8 T, and we also held a photo contest to mark the end of the class,” said professional photographer Kyaw Kyaw Winn (X-Photographer).

As the final part of the class, OPPO brand ambassador and actress Khin Wint Wah helped students by posing for portrait photography practice. Using portrait photos of actress Khin Wint Wah that students themselves shot with the OPPO Reno8 T, a contest was held under specific categories, and winners were selected and announced, with OPPO awarding prizes. The photo awards included a prize personally selected by professional photographer Kyaw Kyaw Winn (X-Photographer), as well as a Popular Choice award. Ma Wai Mar Aung Khin won the photo award selected by professional photographer Kyaw Kyaw Winn (X-Photographer), receiving an OPPO Reno8 T and 300,000 kyats in cash, while Ko Aung Khant Thaw was selected for the Popular Choice award, receiving OPPO Enco Buds2 and 200,000 kyats in cash.
Ma Wai Mar Aung Khin, the student who won Professional Photographer Kyaw Kyaw Winn’s (X-Photographer) Choice award in the photo contest, said, “As someone just starting out who really wanted to dive deep into photography, getting to attend this free class was a huge benefit, and it also motivated me to keep learning. I’m very grateful to OPPO and teacher Ko Kyaw Kyaw Winn (X-Photographer). Throughout the class, I learned a lot about mobile photography through both theory and hands-on practice. I’m also very grateful to OPPO for their attention to every detail from start to finish. I hope they’ll continue to offer opportunities like this and more free classes for photography enthusiasts in the future.”
