MPT Marks Thadingyut with Donations to 24 Elderly Care Homes Nationwide

MPT has carried out donation activities nationwide from October 23 to 26 to mark the Thadingyut season, reaching 24 elderly care homes and other places in need across 18 regions and states.

Thadingyut is a joyous occasion for the people of Myanmar, and also a time to pay respect to monks, teachers, parents, and elders. In keeping with this tradition, and to preserve and honor Myanmar culture, MPT donated essential food supplies, daily nutrition packages, and cash donations worth a combined MMK 30 million on behalf of MPT customers, along with face towels for the comfort of the elderly. The Thadingyut donation activities were carried out at MPT’s respective regional offices across the country.
