Samsung unveiled its new lineup of products featuring powerful Galaxy AI technology — the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Watch7, Buds3, and Buds3 Pro — to the world at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. Samsung ushered in a new era of mobile AI with Galaxy AI earlier this year, and is now introducing the first foldable phone series to feature its upgraded Galaxy AI. This combination of advanced AI technology and Samsung’s cutting-edge new Z Series will give customers a uniquely enhanced mobile experience.
The new Galaxy Z Series is thinner, lighter, and easier to carry, while the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen3 for Galaxy improves the user experience across the board. The upgraded Galaxy AI will further boost users’ creativity and productivity, while Armor Aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 make the phones even more durable. To help manage heat, a larger vapor chamber has also been added to the Galaxy Z Fold6, while the Galaxy Z Flip6 gets one for the first time.

Galaxy Z Fold6: The most powerful AI capabilities on a large screen
The Galaxy Z Fold6’s Note Assist feature can translate and summarize both written notes and voice recordings, and can even translate text directly within PDF files with PDF overlay translation. It can also turn written notes into images or graphs, and with the new Sketch to Image feature, sketches drawn with the S Pen on the Galaxy Z Fold6’s large screen can be converted into more polished images and saved.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 also introduces a new Composer feature that, when writing in email and social media apps, can suggest text based on your own writing style. Thanks to the integration of the latest Google Gemini app with the Galaxy Z Series, simply circling something you want to know more about with Circle to Search lets you view the search results side-by-side on the other half of the screen, while the original app stays open.

The Interpreter feature displays real-time translations of what you’re saying on both the main and cover screens simultaneously, making it far easier to communicate with people who speak a different language. The popular Live Translate feature has also been extended beyond regular phone calls to work with popular third-party apps as well.
The Galaxy Z Fold6’s AI-powered ProVisual Engine takes creative capabilities to the next level, from taking photos to editing them. Photo Assist helps you make professional-level edits right on the phone’s large screen, Portrait Studio lets you turn photos into 3D cartoons or watercolor paintings, and Instant Slow-mo lets you examine recorded video in fine detail.
To deliver a uniquely great gaming experience, the Galaxy Z Fold6 comes with a vapor chamber that’s 1.6 times larger, and its large 7.6-inch screen supports Ray Tracing for crisp, true-to-life visuals.

Galaxy Z Flip6: A uniquely personal experience with powerful creative tools
Featuring an upgraded 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow, the Galaxy Z Flip6 comes packed with numerous AI features and widgets, including Suggested Replies, which automatically drafts message replies based on your own writing style; Photo Ambient, which automatically changes your wallpaper based on the time and weather; Flex Cam, for capturing stunning photos; and Auto Zoom, which automatically zooms in or out based on your distance from the phone — all designed to elevate your everyday life.

To help the Galaxy Z Flip6 last longer between charges, special battery improvements have been made, and its camera has been upgraded to a 50MP wide sensor and 12MP ultra-wide sensor, along with Nightography and HDR features, letting you capture the sharpest, clearest photos and videos.
Both the new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 come with Samsung’s own Samsung Knox security system, giving users full control over their personal data through the Galaxy AI settings. For the first time, they also use recycled gold and copper for environmental sustainability, and both new foldable smartphones will receive up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
