Conversational Agent is a Computer System that was developed to communicate with human in the command of speech and text. Many products are constructed using Conversational Agents. Although those are not quite use in local, those should be used in a world that’s so rapidly changing in order to create a better future. Conversational Agents can be used to construct products that can be apply in small businesses like movie tickets sales and self-service system shops. When international investments enter, it can be used to retrieve data with high speed and for customer service by high technologies. Although Conversational Agents like Siri, Alexa and Cortana have good performance while doing simple task like informing weather conditions, sometimes, their performance can be decrease and complicated in answering abnormal questions and consecutive questions.

To create a more developing system, the most convenient Conversational Agents are being created in various ways and methods. Amazon is trying to maintain a better system by using a great amount of manpower in order to choose the most accurate answer for each question with voting system. One of the Conversational Agents, Evorus, is also trying to reduce the bad performance by using recommendation system which trails the original questions and the mostly asked consecutive questions.

Conversational Agents that use Complete Auto System can perform completely not only simple questions and commands but also in narrow areas like asking for bus route effectively. In order to increase the system performance, some Conversational Agents use human in automatic reply system. Although this has improved the system performance dramatically, on the other hand, it is cost consuming. Using human in the system of Conversational Agents can reduce the ones who use the system for improper purposes.

Chatbots that are used in Social Network nowadays are also Conversational Agents. However, they cannot still give the best answer when asking the exact information and they can only be used to answer the prepared and simple questions. Various IT devices are starting to use Conversational Agents and are trying to increase their performance. Conversational Agents that are most commonly used and being kept in touch with users are agents like Siri that are included in Mobile Phones and they are the most effective agents because they receive data from internet and answer the questions.

Using Conversational Agents will become essential in the developing future and can make faster and more effective response in retrieving information from Search Engine. As in science fiction movie, communication with Conversational Agents will become realistic in the near future and will be able to contribute more effectively to human.

 

Even though the use of Conversational Agents is quite rare in local, those should be used in a world that’s so rapidly changing in order to create a better future.
