DaNa Facility and BoP Innovation to offer Inclusive Business free online course

The UK aid-funded DaNa Facility and BoP Innovation Centre are extending their online inclusive business training course free of charge being offered during the COVID-19 crisis in Myanmar until 20 September. More than 800 representatives from the public and private sectors participated in the course initially offering to the public at the end of April.

The course has included Last Mile Distribution oriented with the COVID-19 crisis as a fourth module. Potential users are considered as last-mile who are underserved by the conventional private sector due to low incomes, or dwelling in remote areas or being both facts. Inclusive business creates opportunities for people at the base of the pyramid to get benefits from economic progress. With inclusive business strategies, enterprises make people from the base of the pyramid involve working within their communities. With the support of inclusive business and socially impacted investment leader group, the Bootcamp comprises four modules: (1) the potential of Inclusive Business in Myanmar (2) improving the Inclusive Business model (3) strong partnership for Inclusive Business (4) Last Mile Distribution. Each module includes not only the relevant norm for Myanmar but also global practices. The course is available in both English and Myanmar aiming at revealing innovative ways to create job opportunities and increase incomes for those who earn low incomes and get few business chances.
