The innovative service “Site Nhgar” by Nay Yar is the service for people who want to rent the apartment but are not in a position to pay for the 6 months of rental upfront.This service will lend you money that is equivalent to the 6months upfront. The person who borrows money from Site Ngar has to pay for monthly rental fees and plus service charges to the company monthly. For example- Nay Yar will prioritize the apartment which monthly rental fee is 200,000 MMKs and a total of 6 months rental fee is 1200,000 MMKS. So, the money borrower has to pay for a monthly rental fee (200,000 MMKs), Service Charges (36,000MKs) which is the 3 percent of 6 months rental fee( 1200,000 MMKs); 236000 MMK s in total including the service charges to Nay Yar monthly to repay in 6 months. And also, Nay Yar is limited to the apartments which have a monthly rental fee of between 100,000 MMKs and 200,00MMKs are available. The apartments in Sangyoung, Kamaryut, Hlaing, and Tarmwe townships of Yangon will be served preferentially.

Detailed Requirements are mentioned as below/

• The apartments requested have to be directly with the owner. If the third parties or agent get involved, Nay Yar will not be responsible for any fees and the borrower has to pay the agent
• Nay Yar will collect the service charges from the landlord but not the tenant.
• The tenant has to pay for one-month rental fees as a deposit and no need to pay for the last month.
• The tenant must stay in the served apartment for 6 months and no moving out and changing into other people is allowed.
• Nay Yar will do the lease with the landlord and after it was processed, the tenant has to do the lease with Nay Yar.

To get the service, the documents required are

• A copy of national registration card ( a proof of 20 years or older)
• a copy of permanent census document or rural household census document for those who come from rural areas
• a recommendation letter from employer(The recommendation letter must include the company’s letterhead with the company’s address, along with the applicant’s name, salary, length of service and position)
• A guarantor’s a copy of NRC, the company, position, contact number, and address. If the original applicant has failed to pay for any reason, the guarantor has to pay instead.
