Samsung Myanmar supports “Tomorrow” Digital Campaign initiated by YUECO Digital Hub and Pen Holder

With the commitment to uplift the morale of Myanmar people especially the young generations amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Samsung Myanmar has joined hands with a local Youth-Tech Social Enterprise; YUECO Digital Hub, and a local comic platform; Pen Holder to initiate “Tomorrow” Digital Campaign.

With a prolonged duration of social distancing, a large percentage of Myanmar’s population is continuing to encounter disarray in their daily patterns. To successfully cope with these circumstances, YUCEO Digital Hub exquisitely brings a digital campaign named “Tomorrow”.

“YUECO Digital Hub, as a social enterprise, always prioritizes the social impact over profit, and we always explore innovative ways to educate and empower youths to become smart citizens,” said Eric Aung, Executive Director of YUECO Digital Hub. “Our team still couldn’t believe we are now officially partnered up with such a global brand like Samsung, with a clear vision of promoting the COVID-19 awareness and demonstrating daily social issues from a variety of perspectives. This creative campaign is crafted to enhance the living standard of the local community through digital storytelling. The campaign will be implemented through the utilization of digital storytelling in the forms of comic series, portraying the two youths from different universes as the main characters who are trying to protect their communities from the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be a total of 12 episodes in the comic series, and each episode will be published on the official Facebook platforms of YUECO Digital Hub and Pen Holder at 7:00 pm every Monday and Thursday starting from November 16, 2020. In addition, there will be a quiz session for each episode where the audience can participate where each winner can win one unit of Samsung Galaxy Fit e wearable fitness tracker as a prize.

YUECO Digital Hub is the Youth-Tech Social Enterprise that aims to tackle the grass-roots problems of the Myanmar Community through digital storytelling and empowering youths to become smart citizens. YUECO Digital Hub was initiated on June 11, 2020, during the COVID-19 crisis, by the young students from Yangon University of Economics.
