“Tay Than Thar” Music App and MPT collaborate and host Online Singing Competition

“Tay Than Thar” Music App and MPT teamed up to launch a unique, public singing competition, “Shwe Mic Khae” aiming to discover new singers and help them launch a career as professional artists.

Starting from 22nd February, Myanmar music enthusiasts will have a chance to enter the competition online and submit their auditions for review by a panel of judges, Myint Moe Aung, Leonard Maung Maung Lwin, Wai Kyee, Rebecca Win and Jewel, famous songs writers and Myanmar vocalists for “Shwe Mic Khae”. Photo Source By Myanmar Tech Press

The competition will be held in three stages with first-round being exclusively online, and semi-final and grand final offline events with online streaming. The winners will win a total cash prize of MMK 10,000,000 alone with the chance to sing exclusive songs with “Tay Than Thar” music label.

To participate in the first round of the singing competition, contestants have to perform a song freely chosen from a pre-selected list of 40 hit songs.

The video clips need to upload with Hashtag (#shwemickhae #taythantharMPT) on the public at their own Facebook account. Participants should also share the link and detail information about the name of contestant, phone number (only MPT MSISDN) to Shwe Mic Khae Facebook Messenger (m.me/shwemickhae) to be eligible for a singing contest.

Top 10 contestants from the first round will be selected based on judges scoring and GB likes to compete for the Semi-final. Top four contestants from semi-final will compete in Grand Final stage where the winners & first runner up will be selected. Photo Source By Myanmar Tech Press

The first thirty contestants to submit their auction for the first round will receive MMK 10,000 MPT top-up vouchers. All constants of the first round will also get a chance to participate in a lucky draw to win exciting prizes worth MMK 1,000,000.
