Call Me Today is designed to provide a place where people can talk comfortably anytime, anywhere and we also would like people in Myanmar to become more familiar with online counseling bookings. In addition, we also provided Time Zone different features for people living abroad to use the services of Call Me Today.

Ko Kyaw Zin, Director of Call Me Today explained “We started operating Call Me Today in 2018 June, to prevent the worst-case scenario if people don’t have anyone to talk to when needed and to provide mental health services the people need. At first, we started with a single phone contact service in the beginning. Lately, we can now offer phone contact, online, and text service.”

People can express their emotions over the phone contact, or through text message online with our service.

“They contacted me via phone call if they can’t wait for a booking. Myanmar people living in abroad also use our service to consult with doctors online. You don’t need anyone to help you if you want to make a booking. We are providing Text chat service for those who are staying at home and who want to talk as they are upset,” he added.

Both boys and girls contact Call Me Today but girls communicate the most. The topics they come to discuss are relationship issues, domestic, and family, and most of them came to discuss their future. The service charges start from a minimum of 35,000 kyats to a maximum of 50,000 per online section. “Since its inception, we have had over 2,500 subscribers. We are going to make it convenient for people in Myanmar to communicate and Myanmar people living in abroad to make payments while making an online booking. There are other services to be added. Plus, we are going to add physical therapy later. In brief, our main goal is to provide mental health more accessible for people. And we are going to present in ethnic languages as well for online, and text service,” he added.

Call Me Today has won second prize at Falling Walls Lab Myanmar for its 2020 Braking The Wall Of Inaccessible Counseling.
