A sharing service is a business that rents out a service or item at an affordable price. This kind of rental service covers everything from car and bike rentals to power bank rentals. Power Flash is a power bank sharing service for users in Yangon and Mandalay.

To use Power Flash’s power bank sharing service, you first need to download the Power Flash app from the Google Play Store or the App Store and create an account. You can register using your phone number, Facebook account, or Gmail.
To rent a power bank, scan the QR code on the power bank cabinet, pay an 18,000-kyat deposit using your preferred mobile payment method, and tap “Confirm and Rent” – the power bank will then pop out and you can start using it right away. The Power Flash app shows nearby rental locations on a map, making it easy to use, and when you’re ready to return it, you can either use your current location to find nearby stores on the map, or check the “Stores Near By” option on the Order bar to find any Power Flash location nearby to return it.

To pay your hourly charges, simply tap the “You have an order to pay” notification in the app, and the payment due will appear, which you can pay using your preferred payment method. The rental fee is only 649 kyats per hour. If you keep it for a full day, you won’t be charged for a full 24 hours – instead, you’ll only be charged for 8 hours, or 5,192 kyats. The app will also send you warning messages every 4 hours and every 24 hours. If you return it within 3 days, you’ll only be charged for 8 hours, but if you keep it longer than 3 days, the power bank will be considered lost, and the deposit will automatically be deducted by the server.
Users of the power bank sharing service earn credit points for every rental. New users who enter a friend’s invitation code when signing up can start off with 30 points, while the person who shared the code will start earning 60 points. VIP account holders earn 60 points for each invite, and if someone signs up using their own account referral, they can accumulate up to 100 points. These accumulated credit points can also be redeemed for gifts.
