Balance Sheet Application is an application that collects financial data of SME businesses systematically. The app was designed to avoid books and pens to create tables and calculate statistics.
Balance Sheet Application includes 5 lists such as sale, purchase, payable, receivable, and expenses. The app automatically calculates all those five lists on the App’s home screen (Dashboard). Each list (Monthly/Yearly) can be exported in PDF format. Photo Source… Ko Nyein Chan Aung, Founder of Balance Sheet Application
The Balance Sheet Application was released on 2021 August 19 with the aim of enabling small shops to conveniently use their statistics on their mobile phones. At present, there are more than 800 users with less than 10 Myanmar users. The rest are foreigners and most of them are from India.
Ko Nyein Chan Aung, founder of the Balance Sheet Application said “I started as a web developer in this IT industry. Then I shifted to Mobile Application Development and started doing freelance. This Balance Sheet Application was my first Mobile Application. The idea behind the app was that I had to write POS Systems while working as a web developer. I started this application with the idea of making a small app related to statistics on the mobile application platform.”
Currently, users are requesting to store their data on the cloud as they are worried about losing their statistics data when switching to a new phone.
“For me, if I were to add a cloud storage function in this application, I would need to create an application server to store users’ statistics securely and it may cost some expenses for the application. In case, I added Ad in the application to create an income stream. And, I will add the Cloud Data Saving Function when the target budget amount has reached,” he added.
The advantage of the Balance Sheet Application is that it’s easy and fast to browse item lists and the lists are calculated automatically according to the concept statistics functions. Users will be able to save monthly and yearly reports in PDF and can also print directly. Photo Source https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.technologygateway.balance
“Hardware stores, mobile stores, and construction material stores should use the Balance Sheet application the most. This means that stores that don’t have many categories of items are more convenient to use the application. It will not be convenient to use the application through their mobile phone for stores with many categories of items,” he explained.
Users will be able to backup/restore data from one device to another and the app also supports Myanmar Font (Unicode) 100%. Plus, the password function is supported to secure the application.
Ko Nyein Chan Aung said “I haven’t added any other features at the moment because it will be complicated for users to use the application. The app was mainly designed to provide sales and purchase lists of a shop as well as profit and loss. I would like to recommend others to try this application when it comes to statistics and to try it first to know whether it is convenient or not.”
