Meta is building a Digital Voice Assistant for Metaverse

Facebook has been creating new features since its company was renamed, Meta. Metaverse incorporated virtual reality meetings. Meta Platforms Inc is building a Digital Voice Assistant to help people interact hands-free with physical devices.

Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg said the Digital Voice Assistant was designed to help users navigate Metaverse. The AI assistant doesn’t have a name, but Meta is calling the effort “Project CAIRaoke.”

Project CAIRaoke, unlike other digital assistants, can have much more personal, contextual conversations with the user. It is also a Digital Assistance that allows you to respond swiftly to unexpected questions during a conversation. It is an end-to-end neural model that can power much more personal and contextual conversations. Like your personal assistant, you can be asked to do tasks such as finding dates, setting alarms, booking restaurants, and searching for air tickets.

The AI is currently not available on all devices, however, new generations of Project CAIRaoke technology will be integrated into everyday applications like this for millions of people around the world in the future.
