The Technopreneurship for Myanmar 4.0 to enhance Technology Innovative Skills

Myanmar Telecom Operator, MPT and Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF) joined forces together to promote technology entrepreneurship among Myanmar youth through the “Technopreneurship for Myanmar 4.0” event as part of the Myanmar Youth Technopreneurship Development Program (MYTDP) 2020 on 11th January 2020, at the MICT Park in Yangon.

The “Technopreneurship For Myanmar 4.0” event was held to build meaningful connections among tech community participants by staging panel discussions and providing unique opportunities for networking for aspiring Myanmar entrepreneurs and promoting vibrant entrepreneurship spirit among the youth. Photo Source – https://www.mpt.com.mm/en/

Myanmar Youth Technopreneruship Development Program (MYTDP) was introduced in 2017 and this program aims to identify and support talented and aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas by creating new business opportunities and develop tech skills with the goal of establishing a network of innovative, local start-ups that will benefit Myanmar’s economy by addressing various socio-economic issues.

“Technopreneurship requires a special discussion platform that will help to shape the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Myanmar. “We recognized the efforts of young entrepreneurs who kickstarted their businesses following their participation in the previous editions of MYTDP, which we have been co-organizing with MPT. It is important to understand that setting up tech companies require more than just pouring resources into a venture. There is a learning curve that can help ensure the success of future enterprises,” added U Min Zeyar Hlaing, President of MCF.
