Samsung Myanmar, always bringing new opportunities to young people, has introduced a new program called Samsung Innovation Campus 2024 – AI Hackathon for Myanmar youth who are passionate about AI and want to bring their ideas to life.

Always pushing innovation forward, Samsung is one of the world’s leading tech companies, having built AI technology into not just smartphones but also home appliances like TVs, refrigerators, and washing machines, cementing its position as a market leader. This program is designed to help nurture a new generation of skilled AI talent.
Open for registration from June 27 to July 10, the program is being run with Samsung Myanmar alongside Myanmar Cyber Youths and Tee Htwin – CSR as lead organizer and partner. Those selected to take part will receive:
- Free access to 40 hours of AI Comprehensive Training, taught directly by IT and programming experts, giving participants coding experience and the skills to build their own intelligent apps
- The chance to bring their ideas to life at the AI Hackathon after the training period, competing for a total prize pool of 60 lakh Kyats — 30 lakh Kyats for first place, 20 lakh Kyats for second place, and 10 lakh Kyats for third place
- Hands-on experience building intelligent apps through online and offline training, on top of coding experience
- Close mentorship from experienced mentors and judges
- The chance to showcase their skills and open up career opportunities
- A certificate of completion and the chance to win prizes, along with many other great benefits

Those selected for the program will individually attend Samsung Innovation Campus for 40 hours over one month, taking online and offline lessons on programming and AI-related topics. To take part in the AI Hackathon and receive a certificate of completion, participants must attend at least 75% of the training sessions.
Samsung Innovation Campus 2024 – AI Hackathon is open to young people aged 16 to 25 currently living in Myanmar. Registration is open from June 27 to July 10, 2024, following the steps below:
- Complete the official registration form released by Samsung Myanmar at this link (http://smsng.co/AIhackathon-registration) with accurate and complete information.
- Participants should have a basic understanding of Python or another programming language, and should be eager to learn about artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
- Since the AI Hackathon requires in-person participation, applicants must currently be living in Myanmar.
